As one of the founders and Chief Scientific Officer for LakEssence, Udaya supports all customer research and development for nutraceuticals and functional foods and natural products. Udaya is most proud of working on the beneficial natural health products that come from the island’s tropical plants, as well as working with a team that manages an entire supply chain from farm- to-customer.

If you came to Sri Lanka, Udaya would introduce you to the diverse flora and fauna on the island. When not working, Udaya can be found gardening and tending lovely tropical plants in the garden.
